F A Q

What functions do your Current Flame fires have?

You can operate the fire by remote control. It will turn the fire on/off. You can select just the fire effect without heat. The

flame lighting has a full range dimmer for you to select the intensity. The heater is selectable in Low (650 Watts) or High

(1300 Watts).

What does the fire cost to run with the heater?

Less than $0.02/hour on High.

How much heat will the fire produce?

At the High setting, it produces 4436 Btu/Hr.

At the Low setting, it produces 2471 Btu/Hr.

Can I operate the flames without the heater on?

Yes. The heater only comes on if you select it. When you first turn the fire on with the remote, only the flames will run.

Is the fire expensive to run if I have the heaters off?

When you select the fire only, the power consumption is about equal to two table lamps.

Is a Suite easy to install?

Yes. Once you unpack it, just set it in place and plug it in. For added safety, we have included a wall mount that is attached

to the wall with screws.

Where can I install the suite?

You can install the fire in any room that does not have running water that can come into contact with the fire or in areas of

high humidity.

Do I need to plug the fire into a special outlet?

You may use any household electrical outlet. A special outlet is not required.

Why should I choose an electric fire as opposed to gas or wood?

They have no flue and no expensive installation costs. They are very simple to install. An electric fire is also 100% efficient. It

takes the room air, heats it and returns it to the room. Electric fires require low maintenance and cleaning unlike real fires.

Do I need to turn down my room lights to see the fire?

Not at all. The flames can be set to a high enough intensity that they can be seen in most any room lighting. Naturally, as is the case with real fires, a room's ambience is enhanced with the room lights dimmed.
