Quality Inspired
These days, suppliers are opting for lower prices by substituting quality for cost by outsourcing to the Asian continent. Although, at Current Flame, our designs are contemporary, we still believe in tradition. Therefore, we build our products using local sources.
The Waterloo region has an abundance of local groups such as the Mennonites and Amish that still take pride in building quality products. Automation is kept to a minimum. Our fires are hand assembled. Each one is carefully inspected to assure maximum quality.
Finishes are chosen based on durability, as in the powder coated 16 gauge steel and flexibility, as with mantle surfaces that you can paint over to suit your room.
Heaters do not need to be noisy to work. You can sit right beside our fires in peace and still have a cozy, low draught source of warmth that appears to be emanating from the fire itself.
Heaters do not have to be high maintenance or expensive to install and operate. Not only can you take our fires and just plug them in but you can move them to another location or even take them with you when you move.
We have also left the door open for the owner to express their own creativity. If you do not wish to use river rock or driftwood in the fire, change it. Try sea shells, glass balls or Christmas ornaments. How about using Potpourri?
Our main goal is to make a fireplace for your room that is appealing and attractive whether it is operating or not.
